Our commitment
Guitar School of Texas wants every visitor to be able to learn about our guitar lessons, understand pricing, contact us, and schedule a complimentary first lesson. We work to remove barriers that may make those tasks difficult for people with visual, hearing, mobility, cognitive, or other disabilities.
Our accessibility goal
We aim to align this website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time certification. We review new pages and updates with accessibility in mind and improve the experience when we discover a barrier.
What we are doing
Our current accessibility practices include:
- Clear heading structure and descriptive page titles
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Keyboard-accessible navigation and visible focus indicators
- Readable color contrast, scalable text, and responsive layouts
- Descriptive links and labels instead of relying on color alone
- Support for reduced-motion preferences where animation is used
- Tap-to-call and tap-to-text options on mobile devices
Third-party tools
Some features—such as scheduling, contact forms, reviews, video, maps, and chat—may be provided by third-party services. We do not control every part of those tools, but we work to choose and configure them responsibly. If a third-party feature creates a barrier, please call, text, or email us and we will provide another way to receive the same information or service.
